Houston Museum of Natural Science Internships

Post Oak students intern at the Houston Museum of Natural Science in several capacities, from serving as docents to fossil prep and scientific illustration.

Several students serve as docents in the permanent and temporary exhibit halls. The Cockrell Butterfly Center is the hub of live research where students work with the living butterfly habitat. The paleontology lab offers interns the opportunity to work with fossils through several projects: fossil prep, 3D printing, and scientific illustration. We have Post Oak students involved in all of these activities as interns.
