San Francisco City Study

San Francisco City Study
Elaine Schweizer

A group of students spent their intensive in San Francisco. They visited the Muir woods, explored Alcatraz, viewed architecture, hopped on a trolly, toured Chinatown, enjoyed all the food they could sample, and so much more.

“The most impactful part of my day was visiting the alley of murals. We were able to see the problems we face in society through the perspective of art. It was interesting to be able to interpret the intent behind the artists’ different works and it helped me view the issues we face in different ways.”
