Bearkats Volleyball Plays On

Question: What did the volleyball player say to the competition?
Answer: “If you wanted a soft serve, you should’ve gone to Dairy Queen.”

For a Bearkat like me, there is no better way of bonding with friends than by grabbing some concession stand snacks and cheering on Post Oak’s sports teams. Applause and encouragement from spectators help any team make it to the winning point and keep spirits high. And this year, we are bringing the crowd to our athletes by way of virtual livestream, helping our Bearkats persevere and play on.

Girls and boys from both Middle and High School have dedicated after-school time to perfecting their skills and improving their game. This year, the boys joined the volleyball scene with their own teams, and the girls added new players to their teams as they continue to improve upon their skills. 

“Bearkat parents and families don’t have to miss out! Our games are live and can be viewed from the comfort of your couch,” remarked a member of the High School girls team.

With the season now in full swing, both teams have been able to play against other schools and see how they measure up against the competition. The High School girls have both won and lost games, while the boys continue training for a first victory. The season has been a learning opportunity and each game shows the dedication of the Bearkats and the teamwork that is demonstrated through this sport.
