Introducing the 2022–2023 POPA and Event Chairs

As mentioned in a recent issue of The Post, we are delighted to introduce our 2022–2024 POPA Chairs: Vareen Cunningham P ’24 and ’26, Rhian McKinney P ’19 and ’30, and Sabina Walia P ’31, ’33, and ’38. In addition, we are excited to introduce next year’s event chairs:

Family Fun Day: Angela Ebrahimi P ’38 and Jelena Zhang P ’35 will chair next year’s event. Angela’s daughter is in Rebecca Duran’s YCC class, and Jelena’s son is in Peggy Larrow’s Primary class. Family Fun Day will be redesigned as it will be held on turf to be installed this summer (no more mud pits on the backfield)!

The Post Oak Golf Tournament returns! Our 2022–23 Golf Tournament chairs are Susanna and Clay Kartye P ’31. Their daughter is in Keri Nickerson’s Lower Elementary class. Our first tournament was a great success, and we look forward to getting out on the green again next year!

Our 2022–23 Post Oak Fund will be chaired by the dynamic duo of Laura and Darryll De Vera P ’32 and ’34! With high energy and lots of experience as class captains, this team is ready to make it our most successful Post Fund to date! The De Vera’s have a son in Tamara Townsend’s class and another son in Lindsay Mistretta’s class.

We are looking for volunteers to chair the Post Oak Dads Club. Contact Development Director Christina Cantu P ’22 and ’24 if you would like to help out.
