Throughout the school year, six Museum District Campus students provided glimpses of life at Post Oak as student interns and reporters. Our Middle and High School student team highlighted the school’s community and culture, from school traditions, campus celebrations, and travel to highlighting our graduating class through Senior Spotlights.

What was your favorite piece of content that you produced during your internship?

My favorite article was about the High School's Lunar New Year celebration. I really enjoyed writing about it because it’s a community tradition filled with food and fun festivities.

What did you enjoy the most about your internship?

Over the course of the internship, I had the opportunity to interview members of the community about projects and activities they were very passionate about. This allowed me to learn more about both my peers and my school community.

What was your favorite piece of content that you produced during your internship?

My favorite piece of content was definitely my first post, the San Fransisco trip photo dump. I really loved getting to put together that post because I was on that trip myself, so it felt special to commemorate such an awesome trip.

What did you enjoy the most about your internship?

I really enjoyed putting my own personal and fun spin on the school’s social media! Having a student work with the media managers at the school is really important because it supplies a firsthand account of some of the experiences at school, which feels even more special to have a post created for Post Oak families by the students.

Alexandra W.

What was your favorite piece of content that you produced during your internship?

My favorite piece of content was the Middle School Gala project article. Completing the actual project was already fun, and getting to write about it allowed me to reflect more on the project and its meaning.

What did you enjoy the most about your internship?

I always enjoyed the article editing process, and it definitely helped my writing for school work.
