I had an opportunity to exhibit my ceramics in Venice at the gallery Palazzo Priuli Bon, San Stae. The exhibition “L’art conserve la mémoire d’une grande beauté” was held in association with the Biennale, with three days of workshops, sketching the city, and visiting museums and historical sites.

I wasn’t sure if I could participate, but I decided to try. In July, I also exhibited my works in two galleries in Houston; both shows were juried exhibitions, and I was happy to pass. But I couldn’t miss the opportunity to go to Venice!

My main composition is dedicated to the Peace and Love on Earth, with three hands holding the Globe, Heart, and Dove of Peace.

My works were accepted, and I received the certificate of participation. The next step was to visit Venice and bring my artwork.

We had an opening and spent the next few days drawing and strolling the streets of Venice. It was an unforgettable experience, visiting the pavilions and talking to the artists and visitors, drawing on the streets of Venice, and conversing with pedestrians. Watch a video featuring some of my work here!
