Students on the Move

Communications Office

Rain or more rain, nothing can dampen our spirits at the annual All-School Assembly to celebrate our Post Oak family and honor the students who are moving up and away.

This year, due to weather and safety, we split our event into two parts, first with students in the Young Children's Community through Lower Elementary, and the second with students in Upper Elementary through High School. Each group heard from our Head of School, Maura Joyce, and then joined in on our traditional "Family Tree" song.

Before the start of the second ceremony, the seniors took a look back at where they all started as they paraded through all the classrooms while applauded by students in YCC up. They wore their graduation stoles decorated with meaningful symbols and where they're headed. In case you missed it, you can read more about our seniors' college choices.

Even in this unusual time, we are grateful to celebrate students on their Post Oak journey, reminding them of the lights they are in this world.
