A Post Oak education is as unique as your child, and we want to be certain we are the right fit for your family.
Before beginning an application, you are encouraged to visit the school with everyone involved in this important decision. Below are the steps to apply for enrollment at The Post Oak School.
Step 1: Submit the online application
Please click here or the button below to complete the online application. There is a $100 non-refundable application fee. Applications are considered on a rolling basis if space is available.
Step 3: Schedule an interview
After receiving your application and admission documents, the Admission Office will reach out to schedule a parent interview. Parents and guardians applying for our Young Children’s Community through Elementary programs at the Bissonnet Campus will receive an invitation to meet with our Admissions Team. The purpose of this interview is to allow the Admissions Team to get to know your family and understanding of the Montessori philosophy. This step is not required for our Middle School and High School programs.
All applicants 4½-years-old through High School will be invited to participate in a virtual visit with faculty members of the applicable academic level. Any children under 4½ are not required to participate in a virtual visit. During the virtual visit, the faculty member will ask questions to get to know the student, who also may be asked to complete some simple tasks.
Step 4: Admission decision
Decisions for admission to The Post Oak School are based upon a child's school visits and admissions testing, the teacher recommendation form(s) and the child's transcripts, if applicable. Decisions regarding a student's application to The Post Oak School will be e-mailed. Responses are expected back within two weeks of acceptance.
