Crafting, Food Trucks, & Bearkat Fun
In addition to the schedule of events, we'll also have crafting stations, including one with the Houston Public Library. The Post Oak mascot, Beary the Bearkat, will be on hand for photos and school spirit. And when you're hungry, you can buy treats from the food truck fare. It's going to be big Bearkat fun! Come by and get your picture taken with the Bearkat!
Donate Your Used Books
The event includes a book drive benefiting The Book Cycle, a non-profit that extends the life cycle of books by finding them new homes and keeping them in circulation for free.
As you dive into spring cleaning, consider gathering books to donate—all types, age ranges, and categories welcomed! You can drop off your donations at the book fair or at the front office in the week leading up to the event (April 4 to 8).
Purchase New Books
Unlike previous fairs, we will not have classroom book lists. Instead, Brazos Bookstore will have a selection of titles to choose from that is curated by our Post Oak Librarian Cory Eckert.
