Ways to Give

Every other year, Post Oak has a gala celebration fundraiser hosted by POPA volunteers. All parents are invited to be a part of the preparations for this fabulous event. The evening includes dinner, dancing, a silent auction, and a live auction for adults only. The next gala will be during the 2025–2026 school year.

The Book Fair takes place at our Bissonnet Campus gym in the spring. Books chosen by the faculty are available for purchase and donation to your child's classroom and/or library. High-quality books appropriate to all ages and reading levels, and covering a wide range of topics, are offered for sale. The Thursday preceding Book Fair is a Preview Night for parents to view the literary offerings. Book Fair happens on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

To ensure the school's long-term vitality, the board established an Endowment Fund. By design, the corpus of the endowment remains untouched; its income is used to support the school's program initiatives. To continue growing the endowment, approximately 5% of all annual giving goes into that fund. Post Oak welcomes endowment support from individuals, companies, and foundations, either through outright gifts or grants, or through planned giving. The board has established a Major Gifts program to fund future capital projects and other strategic school needs, both facilities and program-related, and to grow the endowment. This program is a permanent part of Post Oak's fundraising operations.
